Medical devices

A wide and growing range of medical technologies are used at home.

Professional nurses have a central role in the process of homecare. Nurses have to support patients and family caregivers and in consequence have a key role in providing information for, and as a member of multi-disciplinary teams. Closer collaboration by all actors involved in the process of care and feedback of user experiences to the designers is essential for the provision of high quality of care and patient safety.[1]
